Three Little Pigs

This week we read and acted out the story of the Three little pigs. Hopefully your child came home and retold the story to you in their own words with their stick puppets. And they can do that again when they bring home their storybooks on Monday. Being able to retell a story with all it's details is a really important skill for your children to learn.
Also this week the kids really enjoyed the pretend snow.

Thanksgiving party and Feast of Favorites

We had a good day before Thanksgiving at preschool. We played turkey games, sang songs, cooked turkey's in the water table, drew and talked about being thankful for our families and other things, created an Indian and Pilgrim Thanksgiving village, and dressed like Indians for our Feast of Favorites!

no, they are not yawning...they are being Indians-

Pilgrims and Indians

This week we made Indian necklaces, Indian vests, and Indian head dresses. We learned about the first Thanksgiving and made turkeys out of hands and finger painted corn. We learned the letter I, the color pink, and practiced beginning sounds of all the letters.
